Last year, I came up with a funny one and it had the same tone as “Twas’ the night before Christmas Poem.” I am having a hard time coming up with something this year. I want everyone to bring a dish, a 25.00 exchange gift and wear an ugly Christmas sweater. We are also going to have wine and beer here. Does anyone have any ideas?

I read it in english class, and its basically about Saint Nicholas, but its a twisted side of Christmas in which he lives in the blistering cold of the north pole. And then the elves or “monsters” come take him away, and force him into a suit, and send him out to the night.

This is a cute sound drama from the Sailor Moon Christmas Single, which is part of the Sailor Stars Senshi Singles collection. It takes place during the Stars season, sometime between Mamoru’s departure and the final battle with Galaxia. It’s pretty obvious, but just to clarify, the different font colors on the video each correspond to a specific character: White – Usagi (Mitsuishi Kotono) Blue – Ami (Hisakawa Aya) Red – Rei (Tomizawa Michie) Green – Makoto (Shinohara Emi) Orange – Minako (Fukami Rica) In addition to this poem, the Sailor Moon Christmas Single CD also included a Prologue and a song called Sailor Moon Christmas, part of which plays during the credits in this video. Enjoy, and happy holidays! ^_^

Featuring pictures of dachshund puppies, this original lighthearted poem set to music tells the story of the havoc one wiener dog puppy wreaks on a family’s home the day after Christmas.

It’s Christmas. Be afraid. Be VERY afraid.

MAKE NOT MUCH OF WHAT YOU’RE MISSING

Make not much of what you’re missing;
Each gets gifts as they come due.
Rest assured, regarding wishing:
Riches are reserved for you.
Years of want require wanting;
Christmas gives what one receives.
Happiness ought not seem daunting,
Renting space in what one grieves.
In your heart is all you need,
Sustained by giving it away.
Though you burn and break and bleed,
Mere suffering’s no place to stay.
As you are is as you will,
Sure of winds that wish you well.
