It’s almost that time of year again, and it is time to get started thinking about Christmas presents. Although the holiday season is a family event, we all know that children are the priority. As with every year the presents seem to be getting bigger and better, but it is hard to find little presents for the obligatory stocking or a pass-the-parcel game. From scanning top 10 Christmas present lists to furtively looking through catalogues, its best to start early to avoid disappointment. Braving shopping centres and the crowds of swarming shoppers can make the festive season more stressful than it should be, but at least there are now lots of websites on offer to help. We have been planning on him spending christmas eve here, then the morning with our separate families and then christmas dinner with his family and it seemed perfect to us. Now my mother and sister are laying the guilt trips on me for missing our family dinner to spend time with his family. What should i do and how should holidays be spent when you are still dating, however we are planning on being engaged soon. =) I really want to keep peace here but either way I feel like I’m pissing someone off. You might think that it is a little early to be thinking about a Christmas party but, to make a real impact, the earlier you start planning the better. If you are just looking for a quiet Christmas drink then you can probably avoid the greatest amount of the planning hassle but if you want something more impressive and memorable then the time to start thinking is now.
