Shores youth center provides safe haven, fun activities
Leon Futch sat in a wheelchair on the sidelines, his left foot swollen and wrapped in bandages, and ached to get into the game of flag football with his friends. But because of a skateboarding accident, he likely will miss the season. For the other 30-plus players, however, the games are just getting started.
